What Citerva collects, where it is stored and who processes it

This page describes what Citerva collects, where it is stored and which services process it, as the product works today. The full policy — the legal entity responsible for your data, the legal basis for processing, how long data is kept and how to exercise your rights — is being finalised and will be published here. Until then, send any privacy question or request to hello@citerva.com.

What Citerva collects

  • Your account: your email address, your name if you give one, how you sign in, and, if you turn it on, your two-factor authentication factor.
  • What you put into a workspace: projects (brand name, website, category, description, other names and domains), competitors, topics, prompts, team members and invitations.
  • Scan results: every answer an AI assistant returned, stored exactly as received, with the mentions, citations and recommendations derived from it.
  • Usage: how many scans and AI provider calls a workspace has made each month, which is how plan limits are applied.
  • Messages you send us through the contact form: your name, email address and message.
  • Server logs: requests to the site, including IP addresses, used to operate it and to limit abusive traffic.

Citerva runs no analytics or advertising trackers. The cookies it sets are listed on the cookie page.

What AI providers receive

When you run a scan, the text of each approved prompt is sent to the AI providers you selected, and nothing else. Prompts are written from your project details, so they can contain your brand, competitor and category names, but your account details are never part of that request. Nothing is sent to any provider until you approve a prompt and run a scan.
